This app provides a mean to send Syslog messages of your choice directly from your device to any Syslog daemon or service and diagnose issues. Messages can be sent one at a time or at a defined rate per second, up to 10,000 !
Both RFC3164 and RFC5424 are supported, with additional options.

The app is simple and easy to use, ideal for a quick test, or a more elaborate benchmark under a given message rate load.
